Artificial Intelligence has emerged globally as a fast-growing and disruptive innovation. It is playing an expanding role across various sectors -- healthcare, education, transportation, finance, and communication, among others. AI has also become part of the solution to global challenges such as pandemics and climate change.
The session "The Inescapable Revolution: How AI Will Forever Change Society" will discuss: the 'red-lines' and the scale of threats AI could pose to humanity; the urgency of having an international body or framework for governing AI; the effectiveness of existing multilateral bodies designed to address AI; and the framework in which countries can work together to optimize AI utilization while mitigating the risks that it brings about.
